WHO WE ARE:
- Our team consists of members from Alpine, Eagar, Concho, Greer, Nutrioso, Springerville and St. Johns.
- Our organization is led by parents and includes additional family members, representatives from education, social service, medical, public health, city government and other interested community members.
WHAT WE DO:
- By bringing families and professionals together on a monthly, ongoing basis, we create a unique team that works together on projects that improve the quality of care, strengthen families, share resources and increase awareness in our communities.
- The focus of the team’s work is to build on community strengths that already exist, connect people with each other, and create partnerships inside as well as outside the community.
- Building a stronger power base to affect change at all levels for people with special needs.
OUR MISSION:
The mission of the Children & Family Alliance is to improve acceptance and the quality of life for children and adults with special needs and their families. The Children & Family Alliance is led by parents working together in partnership with community members and professionals.
OUR VISION:
All people in Southern Apache County are valued members of their community.
